This is the twenty-fourth Valentine's Day Ted and I are celebrating together, and I'm very grateful for it,
this you-and-me, I'll tell you that. We have a lot of fun together.
I made cupcakes!
Not bad right? I got a little decorating kit at Bed, Bath and Beyond. Martha Stewart, eat your heart out.
For Valentine's Day, we have a lot of roses around the house, because you know
I love roses. But I say, if you don't have someone buying you roses
go buy some for yourself
and I say, here's to love, in all its forms.

Always inspiring! I want to know-what kind of cake in the cupcakes? Your pink and white makes me happy! Are you familiar with the New York Baking store on 22nd, west of Broadway? So much fun decorating stuff!
Hi Carmen, the cupcake and icing recipes are from the Magnolia Bakery book. I don't know that store but it sounds like fun!

Bart,
Magnolia must be the new "in" trend spot for cupcakes. Pre Valentine's Day, I posted a recipe for Red Velvet cupcakes from none other than the Magnolia bakery that were featured on Epicurious. So, how were those cupcakes?
Hi EA, The cupcake and icing are good. I do not recommend going to the store - bad experiences there - but you can probably find the recipes online.

First of all, your cupcakes look scrumptious. Second of all, you and Ted are the absolute cutest couple EVER. Congratulations on 24 years together, may you have at least twice as many more! xx
Congratulations on being such a happy and lovely couple for so long...it is a rare feat indeed! My heart melted a bit at the photo of the cupcakes...absolutely the sweetest thing.
